Unfortunately it looks like the ice season is probably over in my area. It was fun while it lasted. The season started off with a bang on a small reservoir that is stocked right before ice season as part of the "extended trout season". I'm unsure of the current ice conditions there but as far as I know all the ice in my area is now unsafe. If we do get another freeze in NW PA, this reservoir will closed to fishing by then as the extended trout season will be over.
I'm hoping we will get at least one more freeze and one more chance at safe ice in the Twin Tiers.
I did have one other decent day on the Kinzua Reservoir before the warm-up just north of the PA line. Eventually I will be posting that video on the video media board.
