Goose lake ice?

Does anyone know what ice conditions are like on Goose in the Chambers, Ewing area?  Buddy wants me to go this weekend but not sure if it's worth the drive to find no ice.  Could fish privates in knox county where I know ice will still be 5 or 6 inches.  Also don't want to get to goose and get skunked either (could use a few tips to get on fish).  Not many ice fishin weekends left.Thanks a bunch for any help you can offer!!!

Fished it a couple weeks ago and it was very weedy.  Ice was not that good either.

goose is a very hit or miss lake if you find fish you catch a ton but if you dont find them well you can guess the rest

Was going to go and try goose this weekend also. Has anybody been fishing it this week that might have some info.

So did anyone make it to goose this wknd?  Any luck and how was the ice?  Planning an outing up there on Wed.  thanks
