A good point was brought up on the Ontario Forum regarding incidental catches of out of season species. Here is the response I gave :
You broke no laws .. as a matter of fact you followed them by releasing the bass
. It's an incidental catch and you had your rule and card with you ... good for you
. I see no reason why it shouldn't be allowed as long as you obey the law
.
I'll make a post refering to this topic.
Next year we will have something in the rules regarding this grey area.
