Title: Yo-Zuri Hybrid
Post by: SDFlagChaser on Dec 15, 2018, 06:06 PM
I can get some 4# hybrid line for a good price. I am thinking about putting it on a couple perch/walleye rods. Anybody use it for ice fishing? Did you like it?

It's nice, strong, and thick.  For a line, the 4# is among those thick ones.  It is roughly equal to the line diameter of Berkley Microice 6# and Pline Floroclear 6#.  Compare to roughly same line diameter of Stroft GTM 11# line.

Theres two types, the regular then a softer one made for spinning reels. Both of them get real stiff and brittle in the cold, but I have used the soft stuff in 2lb for ice fishing before and it worked decent. Its underated one size, so 4lb is like most 6lb, 2lb is like most 4lb etc
