Lipless Cranks through the ice

I've heard a lot of talk about lipless cranks for walleye. Anybody using them with success? Any tips?

Yea i'll have to give it try next time out. Don't know when that's gona be with this being the 5th day of 40 degree weather here in northeast PA. hopefully we'll lock back up in a week. Wondering if the crank could be effective on smallies as well?

I use them mostly for pike and sometimes burbot, but they are a good lure to draw fish of all species in.
If they are not aggressive enough to smack the lipless crankbaits they may hit tip-ups or set rods nearby.

I just picked up a couple of the Rapala Rippin raps see how they do for me... Had good luck with the clackin raps for walleye
