what jigs to use with minnows?

well im going up to Northern Wisconsin this weekend and i am going to use minnows.  but the thing is all i have for ice jigs are for panfish.  what kind of jigs should i use that will work for walleyes and crappies? pics would be best because have of the names you guys say are over my head. thanks

if on tipups just use a hook, single or treble.  if using the rod, same thing, or any jig that will hold the minnow; use a small bobber, or a spring bobber and yo're all set. Good luck

Start with the plain old round jig head, works.

Then you can get all the other types of jig afterwards in all different shapes and sizes.

I like using some road runners and crappie thumper jigs as well.

at walmart they sell painted hooks, all kinds of colors and some with dots etc. im not talking about the "red hooks " or the blue colored hooks im saying painted hooks and they are what i use.. i dont like weights on em so they can swim more naturally.. if im fishing in deeper water ill use regular sinker on the line or a ball head jig sometimes but not usually.
