Invited out for some small dink Pond trout

how much longer is it gonna take???   BRING ON THE ICE !!!!!



Until then......

I was invited out today by a friend to go catch some small dink pond trout.  Just a few pics of results.    Crankbaits  seemed a good choice today for me,  where as bud had better luck on Flyrod.  My buds dad's friend owns this pond in his backyard.  These were small ones compared to what i seen pulled out last year,  more average id say

....and yes....this pond freezes over and can catch those footballs through the ice!!!!!

these ones are the "average" size.  I have yet to catch the big ones.  I have seen one come out of there at just over 6 1/2 pounds  last summer

THIS JUST IN..... QUANTUM PT captured on camera, not only did he find ice, but he cracked some slabs too... GREAT WORK!
