Ice reports as of today?

Anyone been checking the ice in northern Ri today or yesterday?

Not sure about up north but south end will have to start from scratch in most places

Ya here in Warwick area most was lost but some shallow ponds had ice still yesterday am so hoping by tomorrow or Thursday things will be thicker and stronger on places that didn't thaw completely

I'll auger Bowdish tonight and give a report. I fished the spillway Sat Morning and there was 7 inches. Wilsons was about the same. I'm sure Sunday took its toll but it was 13 degrees when I left this am and the lake was creaking and groaning pretty good. I'm sure it's tightened Sundays losses up pretty well.

Anyone go by stump or watermans.  Trying to go tomorrow or should I save myself the ride?

Bunch of half thawed ponds in Warwick. ..was on a shallow pond today half thawed but had 4-5 inches in parts we fished...no bites but 2 inches white on top of 2 -3 inches clear...Saturday and Sunday should be good on some northern ri waters

be careful guys I `was on meadowbrook this morning 5 in of ice trout hitting like crazy ice is about 70%snow
covered walking back to the bank I stepped on some fresh snow there was a 10 inch hole  you could not see that only had about a 1/2 inch of I went through with my right leg all the way to my hip twisted my left ankle pretty good `I probably could of rolled out of hole but really didn't want to roll in the water on top of the ice gannetgil was there and helped me stand up        thanks gil

about 40 yds out in front of my place on Bowdish there is a good 6 inches. Edges are skunky but tightening. Waterman looks pretty good a couple open spots right near shore. That lake takes a lot of wind so it doesn't tighten up as fast. I'd spud the edges to make sure they are good. Plank 'em if you need to but mid water there a few good inches of ice up in NWRI. I can't imagine Wilsons is much different. I'll keep posting right into the weekend.
