Found ice in Suffield

Found a small farm pond in suffield today with about 2.5 inches of good ice. Caught around 10 bass and at least 50 gills mostly on tungeston jigs with a wax worm!!

Joshua,
I lived most of my earlier years in Suffield, (West Suffield actually), and used to ice Congamond. I live in Colorado now, and ice the heck out of the impoundments mostly for trout. What pond were you at? Sounds like one of the irrigation ponds. Haven’t been back to fish since 1971, so I’m at a total loss. Please expound on your experience. I miss it!
