There are plenty in the state of Montana.....but as far as close proximity, that all depends on where you're located.

Any burbot in Western Montana. I've always heard they're more eastern in Montana.

In addition to what Missoulafish posted, you can also implement FISHMT to locate bodies of water in your region that have a confirmed presence of the particular species you're looking for.
