To the right is the dam and if you go close you will see allot of currant  ;D ;) ;)muddy creak comes close to the point to the left leaving McDaniels and heads towards the island then to the dam there is a little current there depth will be about 30-35ft

How much of the snow stayed on the lake or did we get lucky and it blew off?

Here is muskrat cove. No one is out here. Looks covered with a few wet spots but it’s flooded out almost to the top of the cement where the dock goes in. As the water level goes down it will like cause some problem areas if you are not careful. Looks like it’s weak 5 -10 feet off shore before you get to anything solid.

Taking a quick drive around the lake after church, I don’t see anyone yet. Here is a picture coming across the 422 bridge. Didn’t see anyone chancing it at mcdaniels. I will stop by porters on my way home and see what it looks like.

I stopped by porters and saw a few guys out there. Must have been you. Planed to grab my stuff and come out somewhere but when I got home from church I found my chest freezer stopped working and everything thawing out so the wife spent the day cooking and I spent the day eating. Lost some venison and fish but she was able to cook and freeze a lot of it to eat later. It was my worst fear come true. Glad we caught it in time and only lost a little.

Didn't see anyone on Shannon. I'm on muddy creek at the moment and found 8-10 inches of ice, no luck so far.

That’s like asking for a gold mine.  People who constistently catch them and numbers of them are tight lipped about it unless you get in close with them.

New to the forum and new to ice fishing but i do have some walleye fishing experience. 3rd time out tonight. 2nd time on arthur. 7 inches of ice on the main channel edge. Caught some perfect walleye meal sized perch on the edge of the main channel and a sandy flat about an hour before dark so I'm thinking I was on the right track unfortunatly i had to leave before prime time.
