Yup, couple more days and I can get the quad and plow down there    we make one every year.

here's a couple videos of me making an ice rink right there and us skating on natural ice .

Enjoyed your videos, looks like a beautiful lake. Liked how your dog was helping you make the ice rink!

Great stuff, great idea with the power auger.  I used to drop a submersible pump down a hole when I needed to re-surface the rink, some of the best ice and best hockey - back when Michigan was cold from December thru March.......those were the days.

Maybe this year will be the year for an old fashion real (no rain in the months dec - march) WINTER!  Or maybe i will have to head your way - 57 and still love the game.

Thanks for the video - well done.

Well done.

Did you get out and drop a line?

I keep checking the AccuWeather monthly forecast (of course changes almost everyday) and have dreams of getting on some smaller lakes in SE Michigan (bluegill heaven) the week before Christmas........at least, that is what's on my Christmas list.
