Ice fishing at a local lake

went out to the lake just north west of PG. It was a fact finding trip so did not have all the gear required to spend a lot of time on the ice however after 10 minutes and 2 fish on the ice was wishing I had put on rubber boots. There was an inch of ice on top of water on top of 4 to 5 inches of good ice. It would have been a perfect day had it not been for that. The action was steady for the time we were there even caught a big kokanee that squirted eggs all over the place. Could get even more water on top of the ice with above temps in the future. Felt good to put a few on the ice again. Well tight lines all.

Sounds like a great day. Glad you were catching so many fish. Thanks for the report.
