I found ice!!!!!

Found about 2" of ice in the Bemidji area on a small shallow lake this morning. No ice on the medium to big lakes yet (Bemidji, Plantan, Irving, etc). But hey, if you're looking for your ice fix the smaller Bemidji lakes should have good walkable ice this weekend.

Me too! The high Friday here in Vermont is forecasted to be in the upper 20s, but then we'll be back into the low 40s next week.    I've got the hardwater itch bad this year! Good luck on the ice this season fellows.

I saw some pictures today and yesterday of people on some small lakes across Northern MN. I might be making a drive up to Ely to get on the ice Saturday and Sunday. Fingers crossed!

I checked some of the smaller lakes in my area on Weds most were capped .  10 below this morning should be able to get out on the smaller lakes soon.

Sounds good for up north!  Southwest corner is going to warm up for the next week. Highs into the mid to upper 40s touching 50* on next Tuesday. Lows  upper 20s to low 30s. Cooling  back down late next week. So going to slow down the ice making  for a week.

Do you guys use the "Ice Report" app?  Downloaded it the year before last for Android.  It's legit.

Mine doesn’t have a single report on it.

I'd hope not, not unless you have fish-able ice down there already.  It'll usually light up once ice reaches 3-5" range.  I think it's relatively new app (couple years old).  If you pan up there's 1 in IL from 3 days ago "0""
