Chasing some fishies

Been bending some rods chasing some fishies recently. The weather has been pretty nice and the ice is one solid block and lots of it- Gonna be ice off in May this year I'm guessing..

More great pics ! Living the rest of ice season vicariously through everyone who still have safe ice . Down here in Southeastern Pa it's open water everywhere .  Striped Bass is the new hunt as of March 1st open season.   (Bays and rivers  )  Those are some beauties you caught ! Nice Ling too ! Nice bows, lots of ice left here, no sign of ice off at any lakes in the immediate future.

Ice here on Simcoe is crap most locations. Beaverton and Port Bolster seem to be holding up well....so far. Late date for huts off is March 15th when most fishing after that date will be Perch/Pike.

Can't wait to get back to BC.

You chased some nice ones for sure. The ice in the Northeast is pretty much gone and have to travel to get some. Another short season. Hopefully better next year.
