deep water lakers / walleyes  duel snap   25lbs  weight .  best weight for the size before it gets to big looking .     pannies 2 lb line retie easy.  that's how I change quickly DUEL SNAPS

I just have 3-4 rods set up and ready to go for panfish. I use em until I find the one that works

I have always just taken a minute and retied.
Fresh start with new line thru the eye .
Eliminate frayed line from ice or whatever
It doesn't take much with light line to break it ,or make it weaker.

Either have another rod set up or tie on a barrel swivel to the end of your line so you can hook your new jig on with a snap swivel that's attached to your jig with a section of leader, kinda like a snelled hook is.
