vivian lake

went to vivian lake today just for an outing.....ice conditions were great but fishing not so.....with us and others i talked to  was around 10 people fishing and no fish....but thats ok was a good day on the ice ....

i'd like to say it was probably the weather that turned them off, but as soon as your post said Vivian lake, i was curious to see if you got more than nothing.. ;)

oh well its close by and theres some  big brookies in the lake so it does have the potential of producing so whether we get lucky or not dosen't seem that important....but i do think it was the weather...lol

fair enough. 

i went out to eena today, and it was by far the slowest fishing day i've had this year.  in 4 hours we got 3 fish, it was really pathetic.  we got one that was 18.5inch, so that was the only positive of the day.

that being said, the ice was great.  all that snow and slush is gone and very easy walking again.  time to start fishing the better lakes as eena is turning off.
