Blades Interchangeable?

I have a Strikemaster Lazer Mag 8" auger, and I thought I read that some other makes of blades are interchangeable with this auger........is that true?

I can't find the new blades in my area, so I'm curious if any other make of 8" blades will work.

Take some measurements, as long as the holes line up, and the angle of the blade is the same it should work.

I wouldn't change to a different style of blade if you need to make adjustments to blade angle or anything like that.

With the internet, you should be able to order the correct set of blades no problem.
