Swan lake

Has any one fished Swan lake this winter?
The fishing is good all summer for large pike and was wondering if its the same for the winter
I got a frabill 6 man tent for christmas and want to try it out

Fished it last summer with good results. Never tried in winter :whistle: :whistle:

there is 17 to 18 inches of ice right now but oddly this year there is a large amount of water on the lake in the middle. a guy was stuck there for 7 hours the other day. So no to many people have been venturing accross the the other side. The fishing to the left of the launch about 500 yards to the left and 300 yoards out is also wicked in the winter.

I think i might be going there this sunday and monday. There is room for 2 more in the ttruck probably 40-50 bucks each for gas. Anybody in..

get to hot from reeling in all those huge fish. but it will be cold. good thing i have a shanty with a wood stove for the weekend..lol

Oh yeah I remember that one and if I remember correctly it was around the same temps as well. So you should be ok.
