Beautiful fish!! Looks like you had to dig through a lot of snow to get to ice!

ya nice bow-- theres bigger  ;)
Looks like a ton of snow, slush stuff happening. I love late season when all the snow on lake is almost gone and the ice is awesome and long days with warm sun..  its coming soon-
How much good ice was under all the snow?

The auger sunk 4 times so that means 12" snow/ice/slush/ice/slush/ice/slush/ice/slush/black ice.  No trucking the lake this year.  Reluctant to take out the 600 lb new sled.

So went out with the new 600lb sled.  I had to tell myself don't stop.  Pinned most of the time.  96 inches of snow has fallen here in Horsefly this year.  Fishing will resume when this crap on top of the ice hardens.  Lake trout will probably get a pass this year.  Too much snow to get in and out of the fishing spot.  Might get in but not get out.  Don't want to be on the news getting rescued!!
