Title: Found geboo
Post by: BowHunter1527 on Feb 19, 2018, 09:06 PM
Hey guys a buddy of mine found a geboo about 1.5 weeks ago while hitting the ice in the Assassins area. He's wondering if anyone here lost it and he would like to give it back. If someone can describe it he would be happy to get it back to them.

OK, I give up. What the heck is a "geboo"?

Its a jigging stick (Geppu.) A Finnish word.  Each wrap is appoximately a foot.  This is an antique one I have but they make plastic ring type ones too.

Thanks for the education Mindy! In this state we know 'em as "bobs".

I tried Googling and all I got was a bunch of nonsense.
