Kid has a bball game in South Hero on Saturday. Would like to take him and his sister perch fishing after. Any public access up that way. Not very familiar with the area.
Thanks

the gut - knight state park.
-
There's also access right off rt 2 on a state launch when you cross onto the island. Grand Isle State Park has access as well.
-
Also the state access at Keelers bay off route 2.
-
I would suggest the Gut. Easy access, shorter walk, and a more consistent bite. Stay away from the current in the middle coming under the bridge.

Thanks guys!!

Gut has been dead for a while

Gut was decent this past sun.......as a group we put a few on the ice 6-11lbs range. Was my 1st trip there in a couple of years so not much to compare to. Plenty if ice......12-15". Surely the slop on top hardened up by now.
Good luck if ya go!

So did Woody... He catches giant perch!

6-11lbs they must be giants.

Lol I’d kill to see perch that big

I went out to Keelers with my girls on Sunday. 15 tip ups and a few jig sticks and we didn't even land 1 perch.
