Pine Lake

I happened to be driving through LaPort In today and saw about a half dozen guys out fishing in the ice.  One group was easily visible from HWY35 in town and the others were near the parking area at Soldiers Park.  Time prevented me from paying them a visit.

I saw one person out on Pine when I came through around 3:45pm. Saw more over at Stone. I do not have a report for Pine but talked to a guy that went on Saturday to Stone by the boat ramp. Said they caught about fifty perch - kept five or six small perch.  (Fire Dept was training on Pine today also. I hope they only have to train - and glad that they do.
