Need some help!!!
« on: Jan 10, 2013, 10:23 AM »
I have a little cousin that lives in West Jorden and he has never
been ice fishing before.  He is begging me to take him but I have
no idea where to take him that has good ice and that is close to
West Jorden and maybe some good fishing.  I know that's a lot
to ask for but it's his first time out.  Thanks ;D

I don't fish it and so can't give specifics but I've heard Utah Lake has safe ice in some of the harbors and there's plenty of panfish and White Bass to be had. A quick web search should find some reports.

Thank you guys for suggestions.  We went to Utah Lake and caught about 10 fish between the two of us.
The ice was good just the fishing was slow.  Although the fishing was slow it made a little boy very happy to catch fish so thank you again.
