That big one is around 11 inches ( you can see where i mis-measured, the 0 starts at his jaw.

From my alpine secret spot only locals attend (PM me if you want to join! always happy to show spots, personally)
I cut the to part of the filet` for crappie fingers, and use the bottom as cutbait for pike!

DELICIOUS!!!!

Im western slope remember, if you are out here (anyone) give me a msg and i'll take you out!

Yep, panfish definitely high on the list of table fare. Might surprise you and take you up on your invite one of these days. 

Not a big fan of cooking oil so I cook lightly dusted floured fish fillets with a little bit of butter at low heat, salt/pepper and finally top it off with this.  Cooking time a little longer but no oil mess to clean up.
