Can I bring my quad?

Leave that darn quad home will ya.  People were yelling at you today for bringing it out on 4" of ice before I even got there ;D  Besides, everybody knows the best perch and laker spots on the King are within easy walking distance of Million Dollar Beach

I think they were yelling out of fear for themselves not for my safety ::). I don't mind walking for some big perch on the King! Just bring your grill again..

you know it Robb.  One day that thing will give up the pull, but until then it still gets my big butt and fish trap around without a hassle. I think it has seen every inch of lake george and wants to see more...soon.    Heck it even dragged a 200lb buck and few does out of the woods for me this year ;D

Hello everyone  - the laker catching kind of has me intrigued.  I am exclusively a walleye fisherman however I'd love to try for a laker.  Now that I have an atv I can pretty much go any where there is thick ice.  Anyone interested in showing an otherwise expereinced walleye fisherman some of the finer points to catching a laker?

The venison sausage sounds like a good idea.

Yes on occasion I do. Especially when the lake is accessible by quad or snowmobile as I have both and like to catch both perch and lakers.

you have to take 149 to Ft Anne.  Make a left onto rte 4 and head toward whitehall.  Continue past Whitehall on 22.  This will take you over South Bay which is Lake Champlain and then you continue to head north.  You will see a sign for Heullet Landing on the left.  Follow that in and there is a parking area right next to the access.  It's gotta be 30-45 min from the village.
