Fish Taken on CJ&S Lures/Jigs
« on: Jan 05, 2015, 11:03 AM »
Let's see some of your fish taken this year on Custom Jigs & Spins lures or tungsten jigs!

I have always used several CJ&S lures through the ice but this year I've found a lot of success on them.

4mm Clown Chekai

Size 14 White Majmun w/ White Finesse Plastic

4.5mm Clown Chekai w/ Chartreuse Finesse Plastic

4mm Blue Glow Chekai

I started using the 1/16 slender spoons last year and was convinced they would not work for panfish.  Man was I wrong.  Love the silver / silver and silver glow and recently did well on perch and gills with the silver / green.   Very nice people too I might add.   They are based in Coralville, Iowa, about 15 minutes from me, so I stop in a couple times per year to pick up some gear.  About time for me to get together another order after my friends keep "borrowing" my slender spoons.

I've caught plenty of crappie and perch off them too...def a go to...would like to order a few more this year, but TBH the all gold one is really the only color I use anymore.

Introduced my wife's nephew from Missouri to ice fishing.  What better ice lure to start with than Slender Spoon?

I caught so many fish off the 1/16 gold glow, the glow fell off!a!. No joke. I was slamming perch out of Sodus Bay, brought my jig up to recharge....and the glow strip was gone...oh well, guess after 2yrs it was time to order more
