Equipment Purchase List 2007..Now with Photos

Its a start and like usuall the list will grow

Hmm.. I'l get in on this thread as well, since I started getting all my ice gear out and dusted off.

New Shanty since I sold the two I had
2 more jigging rod a reels to add to the 9 i already have
Steel leaders, Yogi Knows why I ned these
5 new tip-ups
and of course jigs

I guess that thsi list will work for now but will be updated once I get some new stuff.

ice armour would be nice, but too pricey.
clam lighting but too pricey, probably have to make something.
vex, but pricey, just stick with my aqua vu.
power auger, pricey so I will probably just stick with my hand auger.

Already got what i need, now its just a want list.

Maybe i can get some of that money once i sell my 2 man frabill hut  and some other junk(this is my wife's term) laying around.

- repair TipUpTwo's donor CLAM2000 (it currenty has lots of airconditioning)

- new panfish rod (x2) with good spring bobbers (getting rid of my Frabill junk)

- bulk order of waxies or butterworms

There, that sounds pricey enuff for now.  We'll see what Santa brings.

ha ha I just sold me two man frabill venture hut, i only used it twice.  i sold mine ot a member on here and actually its on his want list slash already have list.  I sold mine crazy cheap and my fish trap scout just to fund my new shanty that I'm getting on friday from another member on here

Just got (3) new St. Croix Legends in the mail yesterday. I found a heck of a deal on the three to my door for 69.99. I'd say where but it might not be allowed on here.

I may have to break down and retire the ol strikemaster and get a new one.

Need some new line and thats about it.

I would like to have a GPS unit, but what I really need to work on is a bigger and better list of excuses to tell my wife on why I need to go ice fishing more! ! ! !

Has anyone fished with Thorne Bros fishing poles.  I have only heard limited info on them.  I would like to find out more before i spend the heavy price they are.

I have a 28" TB Panfish Sweetheart. Definatly worth the money, the best you can buy in my opinion. I also like my Berkley Genz Rods, too bad they stopped making them.

I am also upgrading my Frabill rods too...Still trying to find a shop around that sells the St.Croix rods only without the reel....Thinking about going to LeBarons tonight and picking up a few new Abu Grcia 100 reels .$21 a peice if I recall
