Ice FishAmatic

Just got 2 of them in the mail. Set one up and tested it. For $4.95 each that is sure a lot cheaper than the Jaw Jacker or The Automatic fisherman. Looks like they will work very good. Hope I can try them out tomorrow and find out for sure.

I am going to test it out tomorrow. Wife's Test came out good and we are going fishing tomorrow. Will report on Fishing and the FishAmatic.

I like that idea. I bent some wire around to get a similar thing and incorporated it into a slammer type holder. I since put in a second bend closer to the holder. My old one worked well, but this type seems more sensitive. I used a threaded eye hook to secure it to the end.

I picked up a Hook Set Pro last year for $3.50 on a close out sale at the end of the season and have been very pleased with this rig catching fish this winter. Sensitivity (hard/med/soft bite) as well as the bend of the rod for hook setting is all variable like the Fishamatic.I wish I had bought 4 more to cover the times when I'm fishing a five line lake and spearing at the same time.
