cleaning / water proofing Clam Voyager
« on: Jan 29, 2009, 05:32 PM »
I've had my Voyager for about 4 years or so, and I'd like to clean it and then spray something on it to make it water proof.

What should I use to clean the canvas?

What do you guys recommend I put on it to make it water proof?

Thanks,

Wiener

I know a couple guys that took theirs to the local car wash. Set the shack up in the bay, powerwash, rinse, wax, rinse. Works slick!   8)

I emailed clam corp. about my scout and they said to take the tent off and wash it in the washing machine at a laundromat with sport wash. You can email them and see what they say about the voyager. I washed mine and it worked great.
