Youth mentoring /Take a kid fishing Programs

Does anyone know if there are any youth mentoring programs for kids that involve fishing in Minnesota? I can't find anything in this dorky town or anyone that's been helpful, but I had an experience with a young man the other day when I was fishing looking for help...I actually think he was a lonely kid, showed me his fish and asked a lot of questions. I'm kicking myself in the ass because I did not get his name or any personal info from him. It's driving me nuts!!! $#@! Can anyone help me out please??

I know he is involved with a groups that take kids and those with special needs out fishing. If anyone would know, it would be him. I know he gives allot of his time to causes in the Brainerd area, maybe he would have some contacts in Roch.

The sportsman club that I am active in has a program called Rocky's Fish-en Friends its a great deal! Also check out Lets Go Fishing web site http://www.lgfws.com/  this another great cause I do a little work for the Otter Tail County chapter, the main focus is on seniors, but they do have a youth program also. Give the state office a call, ask for Joe and tell him what you would like to see happen in your part of the state I know he can help you with some names, I think Mike Frish is involved with there youth programs.

i bought my gas auger from "fishing for life" they collect  used rods and reels for kids.
