Safe-ish ice

Where is there safish ice out in western ma? Made it out on the last ice berg at woods last saturday. Probably smoked bye now

I think there may be some out there.  I also think its going to cost me some gas and a ride.  You will be best served by doing the same.  Good luck!

Your best bet in W Mass is any of the three ponds (Burnett's, Bog and North) in the Savoy State Forest - - which are all about 1,900 feet above sea level.

I fished Burnett's last Sunday and there was 12" - 13" of ice.
