ELEVENMILE & ANTERO RES., THE PAST 2 WEEKS

We been kicking *ss the past 2-3 weeks at Antero and Elevenmile res. on the rainbows. Even got a few kokanee salmon at Antero. I've gotten 2 20 inchers at 11-mile. The smoker and frying pan have been busy. Been broken off twice at Antero. Ice is 16-24 inches at both places. We're going out this afternoon for a couple of hours. My first post since the beginning of last winter. Was -12 this morning in Florissant.

You've been having too much fun at 11 Mile this year - more than makes up for a couple of frustating outings last year, huh?  ("Frustrating outings"?  Huh?  You don't remember?)...gotta love fishing.  It rewards you and keeps you humble almost at the same time.
