It did not look to promising last weekend when i was there. Had a layer of ice but with this warm weather who knows???

So as long as there is ice it is open to fishing?  I have a camp up that way and I am anxious to get on ice.  I wasn't sure when the official season opened up that way.

 From the 2005-2006 ice fishing regulations:

   Big Wood Pond, Attean Township, Dennistown Plantation, and Jackman. From ice-in through December 31, night fishing only as allowed under the S-6 and S-14 special regulations and then open for all fish from January 1 – March 31 as follows: S-6, S-14, S-19, S-22

yeah the ice got real crappy with this rain. i gotta wait till' it freezes back up to check my bait trap. holes all over.

I give rockwood a good workout a few times a winter. 

The fishing the past 4 seasons has been spectacular.

Gents, Bigwood had thawed out, but tonight it may button up again! Actually checked the shore ice last week(close to shore!)L.Bigwood was buttoned up for 11/2 weeks, walked the edge thanksgiving week...AL
