Welcome to CrappieVille
« on: Nov 30, 2005, 04:33 AM »
Saw a sing on the ice in the movie: "Grumpy Old Men" as they were headed out to fish. It said "Welcome to MuskyVille"

We'll need a sign for the lake arrowhead shantytown that will be well occupied this coming winter..

any ideas for what it should say?

Hey Lets call it PerchVille.  That way you won't have to worry about getting over run.  You all need to be careful advertising the awesome...I mean, Crappie fishing  ;) the silver sides are.  Sure would hate to turn all those guy's that can only catch 1 or 3 trout/salmon a day onto 30+ fish per morning.  Couldn't imagine anyone  :%$#!: enough to drive 5+ hours to catch Crappies and Perch.   That guy would have to be certifiably  :cookoo:  Scott, you know anyone that crazy?  :woot:

you know steve now that you mention it, i do...he was kinda nuts! he was a marine as a matter of fact. and i could tell as soon as i saw him! he had these black shiny boots on and just over the top i could see the thumbtack holding his socks up.kind of a scary looking guy,yet i sleep much better at night knowing he got my back and when that certain nutcase decides he wants to drive his big old dodge another five hours one way to try it  again he will find someone may have learned a thing or 2 about the hows and wheres...no ice yet but i think we are gonna turn the corner here once this rain passes...seems to be some colder air moving our way.hopefully soon!!

i might know of one other. hmmm... think real hard scott! this guy has to pass the gauntlet of moose infested woods to get there too. and its 6 hrs instead of 5! will travel for pike , stripers, crappie or whatever other game fish that is to be had in s. maine.
