I did both one time. Trout fished opening day in the morning and hit a local lake that still had ice that afternoon. Best of both worlds.  ;D ;D

Pa just stocked a stream near my parents in ne corner Friday and it’s open for c&r  :o

I'm not in the "dacks" but it worked one time in my area. We have one lake that freezes first and thaws last. Stretches the ice season a bit more anyways.  ;D

Anybody has been to Cannonsville reservoir? heard about large browns there. Any reports about that reservoir?
Never fishing for trout before. wanna try this year.

U want to have a lot fun with trout come fish the catturagus creek in zoar valley been pounded them last few days , big steelheads are in fighting machines lol,

Never fishing for trout before. wanna try this year.
I’ll be down the road first week of April at the pepacton casting from shore for bruiser browns one of my favorite places cannonsville isn’t as good but still a very fishy reservoir

Gonna give it a try for the first week. about two and half hour drive. Hope can unlock my first trout!
