Why is my auger in Ohio!!!

I ordered a Nils from Fishusa and have been tracking it.
Why in the world is it going away from me ?

I've generally had bad experiences with FedEx. They always seem to take way longer than UPS. I agree with just a beer, probably has something to do with the hub it got sent to. Good luck with your auger!

Fedex, UPS, and USPS all do this sometimes. Just sending to major hub.

I ordered from FishUSA and it took a while to get to my house via FedEx.  I have ordered from Fish307 and it comes within two days.  Both are sponsors of the Ice Shanty.  Fish307 just does it better!  :tipup:

That has nothing to do with fishusa and everything to do with fedex. They send packages from the west coast right past buffalo and out to syracuse sometimes, adding a day to when i receive my package. Fishusa sends items using all three carriers (fedex, ups, usps) depending on what will cost less. I have had nothing but great experiences with fishusa, they just swapped out a st croix rod for me with 0 hassle. They sent me a replacement without even charging me for it, and had a prepaid shipping label in the box so i could put the defective rod in the same box and put the return label on and send it on. Great dealings with the three different representatives i have spoke with when i have needed to phone them with a problem or question. They have been getting all of my business lately on things they carry.

What shipper to use: Well after retirement I had a large wholesale business (lamps), lots of glass. DHL was the best, they quit the ground shipping. Went to UPS, cost more, and the breakage was beyond belief !! Also, it took for ever to settle a claim. FedEx, had them right up until I sold the business last fall. Outstanding !! They adhered to my bright stickers that stated :fragile, glass, handle with care".  Most of my packages went through (Grove City)Also, if a customer did have any damage, the claim check was in my hands within 10 days. That is my shipping company !!  JTP

Nothing but good to say about FishUSA, but Fedex just plain sucks out here in the country. Many times a package will be on the truck and they just don't show up at my house. Later in the day tracking shows that package was undeliverable when I was home all day (on purpose!). Sometimes after the second day of being undeliverable I call the hub and they always have some lame excuse as to why they could not deliver to me 1 mile from State Rt 20 (a 4 lane Federal Highway), and it somehow makes it to my house the third day (miracle!).
  Can anyone tell that I was expecting a package today-FEDEX?    :%$#!: :%$#!: :%$#!:  Must be because the roads were dry and dusty!

Fed Ex sucks! I had ordered something and it went from Wisconsin to Chicago, back to Wisconsin, then to Michigan and finally to me, and I live in NW Indiana

Yes, sorry I didn't mean to harp on FishUSA, it was likely a shipper issue.   Their service was good.

I have had issues with UPS, FedEX and the USPS from a variety of places over the years.  Here is a classic tracking nightmare from the USPS this past spring.  From  Royal Oak, Michigan, out west to Santa Clarita, California, then back east to Rochester, NY.   ???   

Total elapsed time 7 days.  Should have taken 3 according to their delivery expectation.

I am also not a fan of Fed Ex, I had to send a bow in for warranty work , long story short, they  couldn't fix it so I had to pick a brand new one to replace it. Great no problem they Fed Ex it back to my house,  I can't see the mail box from our house, we don't have any body that lives year round around us it is all large parcels of property. They lean the box up against the mail box post for all the world to see in 8 inch letters Browning down the length of the box. It was still there when I came home but I would think that they could have driven it up to the house??? Going to dust the beagle off today ,no more ice for a week or so. Take care.
