I wonder how the material holds up to cold weather.  It would kind of suck to bump against it at -20 and put a big hole in it because it got fragile like the plastic windows in portable shanties do.

It holds up to cold very well. It survives here in MN at least.

I don't think it would be great for holding heat, mostly to keep the wind and weather off you.

You could use a heater, just don't aim it right at the wall though!   :o

This is the shrink wrap they winterize boats with so it is very strong.
