what brand of flip.....
« on: Mar 13, 2011, 03:41 AM »
I have'nt looked too much into it much yet but what brand of flip shanty does NOT have the adjustable poles. I have a frabill excursion and the poles extend , and was wondering what brand uses solid poles.

I am looking for a 1 man to get for next year and figured less moving parts would be better.
-Truckin , Huntin , and Fishin , That's how I roll

Ha Haa Haaa  Did that hurt right away ???

Clam trapper, kenai and kodiak, and a few of the frabils that im not familar with

Ive had a kodiak and it was way to heavy for me...... traded for a kenai and its a bit more manageable....

I have the "commando" by frabill and the poles are one piece------------I really like not having to fool around with extending the poles------------one of the main reasons I bought the flipover, that and you don't have to duck so low while getting in and out of the portable

I second this.  It is perfect for sit, flip, and fish.  It gets a little tight after 7 hours or so, but still works great.
God is great; beer is good, and people are crazy!
