My friend bought one last year and I used it a few times when we went out together. It's very nice and cuts quick. It weighs about 28 pounds and has good torque. The only negative I can find with it is if you would need service on it. It has the emak chainsaw engine and I don't know how many service centers there are for them. So getting parts may take a little longer than the augers that use Tecumseh engines. Just my 2 cents.

I used a shark all last winter. It is a nice auger. it runs great cuts fast. there are some down falls to it. if the on/off switch gets wet it will freeze. the same deal with the gas cable. the pull start handle is too small. other then that i love it.
