tough morning but no skunk

went out this am since i knew i'd be shoveling this afternoon. set up by 830, it was snowing pretty good with a constant wind out of the NE.  one thing i know is my snow suit is a sponge. it was 31 and the snow was melting on me. eventually felt cold around my shoulders, then mid back then lower back. snow was meltiung on my shoulders and finding its way down my back.  Goretex here we come!!

not many flags at all, maybe 5 in 3 hours. no trout at all. just a small bass/perch.

Dark, dark perch. Kind of cool looking. I would assume that has something to do with the water quality/forage in that particular body of water?
