What is going on with the salmon this year? i have been skunked 5 times they did a crap job of stocking if you ask me

Maybe they're just smarter than us??? ;D I've been skunked salmon-wise my two trips (although I've caught other fish).

By this time last year I had 6 salmon iced and lost another three. I believe the fishing here in northeast mass is different this year also. I only lost one runt salmon that was 20 or so inches at the hole this year.

I think the survival percentage was way low....especially based on early sightings through the black ice on earlier posts...even some of the ones posted didnt look that healthy...

well i hate to say it even last year all the time i put in i only landed 12... Now that might sound ;like a lot but i fished for salmon every time i went out had all my tilts set up for salmon... I wish there was some kind of organization to raise money to stock more salmon in some of these lake that hold them well...
