I've only landed two in the past.  Both were only 3 - 4 pounds but they are fun to catch.

Do you use shiners to catch them? Where they way down deep in that pond or up shallow?

The two times I tageted salmon I lucked out and got em.  I placed my tilts in the main section of the lake (over about 20 fow) and put med shiners about 2 - 3 feet under the ice.

All were caught on shiners 3 feet below the ice the large one took an hour and a half to land crazy fight on 6lb mono leader.
