First ice

Finally 3 1/2 to 4” on Pastorious. Got out mid morning. Two guys beat me to laying claim of first on the ice.
Put 5 on the ice, all small bows. Lots of sunshine.

Really digging that windbreak/smitty you have there. Did you find plans for that somewhere or just McGuyver it? What did you use for the accordion metal frame?

Looks like if your car is downwind it would be easy to just sail right back home!!

Glad some folks are finding safe ice, hopefully this week will allow for a few first trips here in NOCO.
