Found a 10 oz strip steak for $5.50. That and green tops, radishes, spring salad, olives. Picked up a tub of blackberries for $1.69 too....dessert. Gettin' my veggies and fruit!

Bacon-wrapped pigger filet (Kwik trip) loaded salad, tater salad, sliced 'maters. Those little 5 oz filets are good! especially when they have 'em for .99 cents each! Never had a bad one!

I had chili dogs but i canned 5 jars of pickles and jalapeños earlier and got 2 dozen eggs given too me and boiled/pickled them too.japanese beetles are bad around here and i sevin dusted my garden and fruit trees this evening.

currently smoking a deer roast that i brined 2 days. charcoal and mesquite chunks. running at 250*. 10 more degrees to go!

oh and gona fry cabbage while meat rests. ill snap pic if i think of it.

forget to post the deer roast pic the other night so here. turned out great! the brine really knocks off the gamy taste.

pulled it at 130* and wrapped it up while i fried cabbage.

tonight its beef kabobs on the grill. then trout fishing till midnight or 1am.
