Mr Heater extension hose
« on: Jan 25, 2009, 01:08 PM »
I have a Buddy heater and use a bulk tank.  The hose that connects the bulk tank to the heater is very stiff when it gets cold.  I can't get it uncoiled.  It limits where I can put the tank/heater (at least until it warms up a bit).  How have others solved this issue.  I have considered keeping the hose inside my bibs (worn like a belt) until I get situated and set up the shelter/heater, but this is a pain.  I used to have another setup for connecting a bulk tank to a two-burner that didn't have this problem, though that hose had a pressure regulator on it, and I think the flexible hose was a relatively low pressure one.  The Buddy hose doesn't have a regulator.  I considered removing the connector and replacing the hose, but I thought that might be a little risky.

Suggestions?

Thanks,
MD

I got myself a more rubbery hose from a propane dealer. I like the flexibility in cold weather.
Badges? We don't need no stinkin badges!
