Try giving any small engine repair shops around a call. They might be your best bet for having something around since no one picked up the Techumsh line yet and parts are becoming somewhat hard to come by  :-\

I just ran into the same problem with my strikemaster 2000 with  a tec. motor on it today.  Leaking gas all over... here where the white piece on the carb is was cracked where the fuel line connects onto.  I just took one of another carb.. They just pull right off.  Just my 2cents of info.

I was told the Tecumseh parts line was bought by a company in wisconsin. There are a lot of the 3hp motors used on snowblowers. I'd pull the carb and take it to a local shop and have them run the part number, maybe they can cross reference the parts or find an NOS piece. The carbs on the late model 2hps are not worth repair IMO, buy a better carb preferably a walbro with high and low adjustment.

You can get metal fittings in all different angles to replace the plastic pieces. Sometimes you have to drill and tap the carb body but they work well. I've done that to a couple carbs already.

Sully I got the auger back filled it up with gas and the next morning aal the gas ran out. I took it back to the guy who worked on it and he said the carburetor was cracked . I haven't taken it apart yet. Maybe I should take it apart

Just a thought. If it is cracked, maybe you could epoxy it. With all the various epoxies on the market I would think that there might be some resistant to gas. Maybe just a temporary fix until you find a carb. Check your pm's, I sent you an ebay link with a carb. I don't know if it's what your looking for.

U can also find many differnt kinds of liquid steel used for dif applications try at a machine shop tooling sales company or we have an acklins, they sell auto, pint, tools etc.. this stuff hardens like epoxy but is much harder and can be drilled, tapped etc..
