Here you go. I have this saved in my favorites--> http://www.idniyra.org/articles/ice_sailability.htm (http://www.idniyra.org/articles/ice_sailability.htm)
The chart is about 2/3 of the way down the page.

1 day of 5 degree temps should turn open water into safe ice ???
If nothing else this chart just gave me more to obsess about until I get on the ice.. thanks ;D

Bump... helps fuel my ice dreams

Just bumping this up for the ice charts. With the forecast and using the chart not factoring in the wind and rounding up the temps a bit locally should have 4 inches of ice by the weekend. I figured others may like to see the chart.
Sorry I didn't realize this was in the Maine forums.

Thanks for bumping this, wolffpack08. It's something to look forward to.

might be on the ice by the weekend if the wind stays down. small ponds skimmed over here already. won't take much more cold to lock up the smaller lakes. ;D

one season at a time its still deer season!!
