Planning on trying out this lake for the first time for Rainbows tomorrow. Any words of advice or on access appreciated. Been fishing for years but Pretty new to the trout game.Thanks

trout are a whole different animal imo

Ive heard nesland can be good though  not much to look at but there are fish there

try small minnows or half a minnow on small spoons   that powerbait does catch them as well.

small marshmallow and kernel of corn was what I always used growing up

For a first time trout trip nesland is a bad chose. Very tough. Constance might be a better option. You will definitely see more

I can tell you my nesland trips. I went 3 days this winter. Got skunked twice. Caught 2 little ones one day. Another day my dad caught his pb. I am basically looking for one or 2 bites when I go.
