...don't know if you know this, WyoIce, I went over there without realizing it had changed, new regs, pg 20, par 22, "new creel limit on burbot is 25 and all must be killed as soon as they hit the ice." :roflmao: G&F agent I correspond with down in Green River told me the wardens are PO'd because they've been finding dead ling on the ice, abandoned and while they want them DEAD they don't want them wasted. I've done real well catching them off the south side of that long point in 20-30 feet of water just bumping a jig and sucker meat off the bottom. Lemme know how ya do.

Plenty of ice out there, a good 9-10" of clear solid ice. Thanks for the welcome!

:)hi guys and gals i'm a new member here. I have fished big sandy res. before and the biggest i caught was 28 inches long. What a fight that was awesome. the best fishing was late afternoon and up until about 11:00 pm. The rest of the time it was slow fishing for me there. I fish down by the dam and the only place I was able to catch some fish was over buy the dam. suckermeat, minnows, and mealworms worked best for me.
Love to Fish and make Soft Plastic baits

Just doesnt get any better than catching fish off your own panfish/ trout baits from tubes, curly tails, and small baits catching fish of any species

How is it fishing during the open water. I am hoping to get moved back up to lander late spring/early summer, maybe I will get a chance to throw a boat or a raft in...

...used to be ling, catfish, rainbows and browns. G&F guy told me the bows were gone now
I've never caught a catfish out of it and he says they presently still stock the browns, but no more bows....survivability problem.
